Yeah.....me too!!  Can't wait for the revolver "Silent Thunder" holsters to be released by Tucker.  I would like an IWB for my 4" S&W 686 and Colt Python.

Thanks for the link, looks like they really thought things out for concealed carry.
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Why add the width?

Seems to me the leather defeats the purpose of the whole thing - kydex is fast on the draw but hard on the finish.  Leather is slower on the draw but easier on the finish. I use a kydex for CCW and don't worry about the finish.  Otherwise a great looking holster.

IMHO

By the time the leather is boned inside it adds 3/32"in width overall. As to why this holster was designed the way it is, The leather/Kydex makes for a silent and incredibly smooth drawstroke that can not be achieved by one component. The kydex provides a rigid exoskeleton for support and the leather, which is smoothside in, is specially treated to be FAST! There are several competitors that are using the Silent Thunder Champion that have dropped significant time off of their draw. Actually, mitigating finish wear is just an added bonus as it was never included in the design parameters. Fast, smooth, silent,a variety of mounting options, and durable were the set goals for this project. I hope this sheds a little light on this line of holsters.
