A good friend and companion!

Just said goodbye to my little buddy of the last 13 years.  He left us looking into the eyes of his favorite packmate, my lovely wife Susan!

RIP Harley!

Probably the single most difficult thing I've done in my life...  He's going to be sorely missed by all of us.  A really exceptional dog, albeit a diminutive one, he was a terrier through and through.  I'm a bit worried about Suzy but she'll be OK eventually.  She and Harley have spent nearly every day together throughout his lifetime.

Know what it's like. 

Our Bichon departed us 2 years ago and we still miss her.  She passed on while snuggled next to me on the sofa.

It's so very hard to lose a part of the family that pets become. My condolences.

Sorry to hear Timothy.  Reminds me of all the ones we have had and lost.  Unless someone has had a faithful pet they can never understand how tight the bond and the emptiness left.
