I agree that gun control has been a long term plot .
What I disagree with is your list of culprits .
A close study of political history since 1900 will show you the slow encroachment of communist/socialist subversion, not just in America, but the entire Western world.
They openly call themselves communists and Socialists in France , in England they call themselves "The Labour Party",
in America they are the Democrats, but if you pay attention you will note they all refer to themselves as "Progressives".
That has been used as a reference for communist/Socialist movements since at least the time (1840ish) that Marx was using it in his writings.

And what Tom just referenced has forced me to go back and re-read some historical information to put an explanation point on the truth of that movement.  I'd suspected it all along but was unable to see it until recently the last five or six years.

We lost the cold war as Tom has preached again and again!  Yes, we stopped the Soviets from advancing further military might against our coastlines but failed miserably on the front that allowed them to further a more heinous agenda on our policies, education and social programs.  It wasn't the Russians, it was our own government dating back to good old Teddy and his nephew Franklin!

Should have been done in the 60's when they were gathering in large flocks with NVA flags and Che tee shirts.
Instead of bombing Hanoi we should have been shelling Berkley.
