Welcome, JdeP. Better late than never. Personally I don't think the controversial nominations and the debt ceiling issues will prevent movement on the anti-gun front, most of which will use the former issues as cover while they maneuver "around" the NRA and us. The bills are not the prime worry. It's the state level issues and the executive orders that will do the damage. Keep an eye on BATFE, FBI and DHS as they issue new, clarifying regulations that will reflect anti-gun creep poking the eye of Congress while it is wrestling with the more important issues!
