cleaning funneling cone on revolver?
« on: November 12, 2012, 06:05:47 PM »
I've always had a problem with this.  Even worse now that I reload lead.  I just can't get to it.  Any ideas?

Yep, order a Lewis Lead Remover.  Try Midway and or Brownells.  Note they a caliber specific.

Cleaning?   Cleaning?

Seriously I have a couple of short, cut off brushes that I use without a handle to scrub the "forcing cone".   My favorite, hard-to-reach spot is the area in between the barrel and the top strap.

Will work for ammo
