Cheapish, .45 acp brass.
« on: October 07, 2012, 06:35:31 AM »
A guy on another board is selling 2800 rounds of once fired Winchester brass .45 acp for $225. I thought that sounded like a good price. If you're interested PM me. I make no guarantees, caveat emptor, but I thought I should bring it to your attenion.

Haven't looked at .45 brass lately but I'm pretty sure it isn't that expensive.

Just a fyi.  1000  45 acp cases is about 13 #  .  Brass is about $2.25/lb right now.  Lets just say 2800 cases is 30 #  thats almost  $70   in just taking it too the scrap yard.  Let alone what it would cost to ship.

Currently for 45 ACP Once Fired Brass the price is $78-$105. The price for scrap brass plays a huge roll in 45 ACP in particular because 1000 pieces weighs about 13 pounds. Unprocessed brass is a little cheaper.

Local recycled brass company here in town.   The Brass Exchange.  Good guys.  All shooters.  They sponsor indoor matches, cause it's good for business.

$15/250 .45.  So 2,800 round ~$165.

Even though it's tough leaning over my belly, I get mine free by picking it up and scrounging at my range. I spend more time doing that than shooting.
