Biggest handgun in an ankle holster?

After seeing some of the ankle holster offerings out there (including one for a full-sized 1911!   ), I was wondering about this board's experience....what is the biggest handgun you've ever carried (or attempted to carry) in an ankle holster?....

...by "biggest", it can be designated by handgun size, caliber, or capacity.......

I would ask a followup question. Why an ankle holster? The only good it will do you is if you have a few seconds to get the gun out. Quickdraw, it aint. Great concealment (though you might limp a little with the 1911 ). Speed, not so much. Why choose this option as a civilian? I too would like to know what folks carry on their ankle. I'd just also like to know why.

I'm not asking if ankle carry is a viable option or not...that's a different discussion....I'm asking what the biggest revolver/pistol that someone has ankle-carried is.....

Sheesh....you guys are worse than the Glock/Taurus/9mm-bashers....

Oh, but its fun. Except for the Glock bashing. Thats just wrong. Seriously, I too am interested in the question.

My Dad used to carry a 5 shot .22 RG snubbie in a boot holster.

 P32, but I don't think there is that much size difference between the 2.

I think that anything more then a Kel-Tec/LCP is rather uncomfortable and just feels weird. Like was said earlier, Ankle carry in itself is probably a last choice, but it does have its place.
