Title: My "new" mag carrier
Post by: RTFM on February 16, 2017, 06:59:46 PM
Bought a Alien Gear single mag carrier for the Kahr CW45 - all sorts of sharp angles and pokie things - IWB was uncomfortable, OWB slid on my Wilderness Tactical AND Alien Gear's (very nice) Leather belt I have.
(I sent it back - taking them up on their 100% return policy)

And then like a cartoon the light bulb went off.

No sharp pokie bits, with the bonus that if the sheeple see it, they won't react as even the special snowflakes know what a Leatherman is... eBay/Amazon etc all have them for $8 vs: the $35+ for plastic magic mag carriers...

I bought this one and so far I'm really liking it.

I've use one or two for my Shield mags.   I think one is a $0.99 generic knife pouch from the lgs.

Years ago I bought an Uncle Henry lockback folder (you know the old classic with the wood panels and brass bolsters on each end) and it came with a leather sheath. Just so happens that a Wilson 1911 mag fits perfectly......so, when I carry a 1911, one mag goes in the pouch for faster access, and two reserves in the back pocket.
