Does anyone have any experience with Pachmayr Compaq grips on something with a stout kick? I have a 3 inch ported Smith that kicks pretty straight back. It came with the Hogues and they are very functional, other than they have to cushion on the backstrap. I like the look of the Compaqs, but are they more than just looks?
