Another great review! Boy do I like the trigger pull on your 44 mag. You’re correct about recoil on short barrel big bores. Ruger has addressed this problem very well in my opinion. I have had a snub 44 mag S&W that was a handful with the small smooth grips but replaced it with a Ruger Alaskan in 454 Casull. Still a handful but the rubber grips really make in manageable. Love this gun!

Nice video. I enjoy Michael on TV, he’s a normal kind of guy. BTW, I have a S&W 629 snub I bought about 20 years ago. It was sitting on the shelf of my favorite gun shop, Poway Gun Works. They had a shooting tube for gunsmithing work and they let me fire a .44 Magnum from this gun in the tube. Fire, Blast and Noise ensued! Of course I bought it on the spot!!
