For the third year in a row Team Glock’s Randi Rogers of Smyrna, Ga. claimed victory at the U.S. Practical Shooting Association’s Area 8 regional championship, this time in the Limited division. Previously Rogers captured back-to-back Production division titles in 2010 and 2009.
Team Para USA shooter Travis Tomasie of Smiths Station, Ala. won the Limited division title this past weekend in Fredericksburg, Va. at the 2011 EGW Area 8 Handgun Championship. USPSA’s regional match drew over 300 shooters from the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as across the country.
Reaffirming her position at the top woman shooter in the country, and fastest in the world, Jessie Harrison swept all four major titles at the Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championships in Piru, Calif. to take her third consecutive, and fourth career, overall women’s title.
The Steel Challenge Shooting Association and Safarliand announced that Safariland will once again take a major sponsorship position for the Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championships.
