Pincus Attacked by Anti-Gunners for Home Defense Advice

RobPincusNRAshow2013NRA speaker Rob Pincus is under heavy fire for remarks made at the National Rifle’s Association’s Annual Meeting last week when he suggested putting gun safes kids’ bedrooms. The comments and video were picked up by The Huffington Post and The Blaze. Even Bette Midler got in the bashing, calling Pincus an “idiot” via Twitter.

In the video, Pincus said there would be some “emotional pushback” to his suggestion, but also stated that there is “absolutely nothing wrong with staging the gun where you’re most likely to barricade” during an intrusion.

The video of the complete statement can be seen below:

Rob spoke six times during the three-day event, with over 3,000 attendees in total.

I think it is a good idea. Where is a parent going to go except into their kids room to prootct them.

I don’t have kids but I do like the idea.
