New episodes of Gun Stories and American Rifleman TV

Outdoor Channel’s program block on Wednesday night sponsored by MidwayUSA is a favorite among sports shooters, concealed carry holders and firearms enthusiasts.

Gun Stories is a fan favorite among our viewers and on Wednesday July 1 , host and actor Joe Mantegna will once again take the viewers through a firearm’s history, from the heart of the design through its use on the range. The first episode of the season is about the Colt Cap & Ball Revolvers (watch preview here). In the weeks to come, you’ll also learn more about the Bren Gun, the Remington Model 8, Big Bore Revolvers, the Gatling Gun, the guns of the Union and Confederate Armies, Suppressors, the Sharps Rifle, the evolution of the ignition system and the history of air guns.

New episodes of American Rifleman TV with Mark A. Keefe premieres this month and this week, ARTV tours the facilities at Nighthawk Custom (watch the preview). Later on they’ll review the SIG Sauer M400 and shoot the Enfield No. 2 revolver.

New to Outdoor Channel’s Wednesday night line up is Guntucky. The former Country Music Television (CMT) series from the producers of Pawn Stars follows the Sumner Family and offers an inside look at their family-owned business – the world-famous Knob Creek Gun Range. But this summer, family drama reaches a boiling point as Grampa Biff turns over the day-to-day operations to his reliable son, Kenny, who now has his hands full with the rest of the family, including his brother Steven, son Chad, niece Stephanie and nephew Payton.
