In Modern Pentathlon, there are plans to replace the traditional air pistols with laser pistols in the 2012 Olympics. New products are out – Ruger with their SR-556 in 6.8SPC, a .50 BMG Upper for the AR-15 by Zel Custom and Rock River Arms’ piston driven AR-15 Pistol.
