Team Smith & Wesson’s Jerry Miculek fended off top wheelgunners Ricardo Lopez, Cliff Walsh and Matt Griffin to claim another revolver victory, this time at the popular U.S. Practical Shooting Association Florida Open Handgun Championship.
William Munier of Lawrenceville, Ga. was crowned the Single Stack division champion at the U.S. Practical Shooting Association’s Florida Open Handgun Championship.
The Florida Open always draws a strong contingent of foreign shooters and this year was no exception as the top five shooters all came from outside the U.S. with Serbia’s Ljubisa Momcilovic walking away with the Production division title.
Russia’s Svetlana Nikolaeva battled through four lead changes before taking the Women’s Production title at the USPSA Florida Open Handgun Championship.
With names like Abbate, Lee and Miculek in the competition, the Women’s Open title at the USPSA Florida Open was sure to go to one of these ‘usual suspects’ until Kaci Cochran shot her way to the top…and the title.
