BLADE Show Now Features Tactical Gear Expo

ATLANTA, Georgia (June 7, 2011) – BLADE Show, the world’s largest tactical International Cutlery Fair is celebrating its 30th anniversary at the Cobb Galleria Centre this weekend. Co-located is the first Tactical Gear Expo.

The Tactical Gear Expo is open to the public and features manufacturers, dealers and suppliers of products and services related to anything tactical. There will be tactical firearms, tactical knives, self-defense gear and a number of products for civilians, law enforcement and military applications.

The BLADE Show, presented by BLADE Magazine, has the very best of the knife-making and knife-collecting industries under one roof. It is the world’s largest combined show of handmade, factory and antique knives and has over 700 tables and about 175 booths and products.

Some of the tactical gear products include: clothing and accessories, duty gear, eyewear, firearms/accessories, hearing protection, hydration equipment, ballistic equipment, books/DVDs, flashlights/accessories, firearms/knives, restraints and more.

The show has the most diverse array of knife manufacturers, custom knifemakers, cutlery manufacturers, collectors and collections. This year, there will be the Blade Magazine Knife of the Year awards, Blade Magazine Cutlery Hall of Fame induction, the annual ABS meeting, BLADE Show World Championship Cutting Competition, forging demos, collecting how-to’s and so much more.

BLADE Show tickets are $15 daily and $35 for a weekend pass, and includes the Tactical Gear Expo Ticket. The show is from Friday, June 10 to Sunday, June 12.
