LOS OSOS, Calif. – Custom gunsmith Randy Lee of Apex Tactical Specialties, Inc. announced that Scott Folk, previously of GrayGuns Inc., has joined the company. Folk will be responsible for new parts development, Quality Assurance, action work on modern handguns and the company’s marketing.

Prior to joining Apex Tactical, Folk worked for five years in various roles with well-known master gunsmith Bruce Gray of GrayGuns serving as an apprentice, a gunsmith and shop foreman for the custom gunsmithing operation known for specializing in HK and Sig Sauer pistols.

At Sac EDM & Waterjet, the nation’s fourth largest such facility where he worked for 10 years, Folk developed his CNC machining and EDM expertise and rose through the ranks to ultimately manage the EDM department.
