The Taurus .45/.410 "Judge" is one of the most innovative self-defense handguns to come on the market in years. It is not the first .410 revolver, but it is certainly the best made. With an alloy-frame version on the way in the next month or so and a 3-inch .410 version with the 5-pellet #000 buckshot available coming in 2009, the Judge is an excellent choice.

THE BOTTOM LINE — I like this gun a lot, and I congratulate Bob Morrison and Taurus for rolling it out. As I have said before, I believe the Judge is the best "car gun" ever made, and I look forward to putting one in my center console!
